BREAKING NEWS - is this the new TVR?
Maybe a joke, maybe a blunder (the waiting and the attendance can surely create a false opinion) but a new image emerged. This seems to be the new TVR that will be shown this coming weekend at 2010 Festival of Speed at Goodwood (please, send me images!!! tvrblog@0-100.it).
This image is followed with a description: "The new car is a rework of the Tuscan. Fatter and more complex styling".
Is this the truth? Leave a comment or send an email if you know something more.

Would be nice if it was true!
ReplyDeleteAlthough a tvr owned by a russian, built in germany with an US V8, isn't a real tvr anymore... Tvr has to be created by the british to keep its value as a proper british sportscar.
I agree with you.
ReplyDeleteTo me TVR is one of the multiple car (small) makers that exist in UK. And that's why it makes they so particular and different from other mass car makers in the world.
I cannot read properly the picture date (lower right corner), but it seems it was in 2006 or 2007 !?
Maybe this pics a prototype of a tuscan or else at that time...?
What do you think ?
Seems like the date is 07.08.06 to me...
ReplyDeleteAccording to the date the picture probably shows the prototype of the future TVR, which couldn't have been built due to insolvency.
I also would say that this prototype is based on the Tuscan 2. The Sagaris based on the t350, so it would make sense to give the Tuscan 2 a facelift, too ;)
if it was done that long ago, i suspect it would have been cancelled, like most tvr prototypes these days e.g. TVR typhoon
ReplyDeleteLooks excitingly 'close to home'; a cross between a Sagaris, Tuscan and Typhon. But If this is a recent photograph (and this car looks far from finished), I doubt that they will have the car finished in time for the introduction at Goodwood.
ReplyDeleteOK guys,
ReplyDeleteI needed it only to keep our nervous tension high.
From this weekend we'll see the new car. And I desperately hope that she won't be a nine days' wonder.
good news, i now manage ariel blog, which i think could be more popular than noble blog, be sure to have a look, by the way i still think they won't have a new tvr by the end of goodwood
