Designer David William Martin looks at the future and at a new future for TVR. Here are some sketches of the TVR Cerbera MK3. Volumes are always the same, gorgeous, of the TVR Cerbera but sides are wider. The new TVR GT car seems to be more compact and seems to pay homage to the incredible Cerbera Speed-12.
Very nice BUT I will beleive it when I see it
ReplyDeleteAt least this one looks like a TVR. Perhaps a bit too much, so it can hardly be called a revolutionairy design.
ReplyDeleteThese are drawings from Christmas time 2005, so anyone hoping that they might be a forthcoming new car I'm afraid will be in for a long wait.
ReplyDeleteNice to see the ques were picked up well, although the car was intended to be bigger all round (benchmarked against and e46 M3) to allow proper rear seat accommodation.
The look of the front of the car was cosidered a little too "wild" so was toned down a bit in the last, overhead, drawing but could well have been a pretty car. A sister concept was worked up by Chris Stallard similtaniously and was featured on the front of Auto car:

Sadly the project didn't get further than the concept stage as other projects took priority, then the company folded at christmas 2006.
