TVR Find of the day: TVR Griffith 500 SE Left Hand Drive for sale
The last post of 2010 could be a very interesting subject to start a great 2011 with a wonderful and rare TVR in your hands. A dear friend of mine is going to sell his masterpiece to enter the Wiessmann universe. It's a very rare TVR Griffith 500 SE Left Hand Drive. That's car n.41 in the Register of TVR Griffith with Left Hand Drive.
She is of 2001. Full options: full leather, air conditioning, electric mirrors and adjustable lumbar support in the seats. Colour: Very dark metalized green (stunning) with green hood and black interior. Only 29'500 km - full service booklet I bought it second hand in 2002 when it had 13.500 km so I have not driven her a lot. She has been in a heated garage her whole life - only driven in summer. No track driving ever. I had the suspensions upgraded and added a battery circuit breaker in the cockpit. The battery is new and the tyres have driven only 1.500 km. Also added a top end Alpine stereo system last year. A few minor scratches/paint chips on the bodywork and wear on the leather seats - otherwise in fantastic shape.
I will be asking 72.000 CHF for her (negotiable). Seeing how rare she is and her condition, I think it is a very fair price.

A very nice color combination, green with stainless steel dashboard and black dials, much better (more 'racy') then the standard wood finish.
ReplyDeletePity I don't have 57.542,51 Euro (72000 CHF) stashed away in an old matress...
