My TVR Griffith 500 complete rebuild
A German TVR enthusiast picked up his TVR Griffith in March 2004 from a guy in Essex. It’s a 94 Pre-serp 500 with T5 box. On January 5th 2005 he was reading a thread on Pistonheads about body off chassis restores, knowing that his had some rust on the outriggers he was interested in the topic. By the end of the thread he’d decided to undertake the task, on the 6th of Jan the project started

In Holland there is also a major Griff-rebuild going on.
ReplyDeleteA 1996 Griffith is being rebuild into a 5.3 with a color to match: a color I have come to call 'Volcano Burgundy'...
The car is expected to be ready fall this year (the project is taking slightly longer than they hoped) as is being build at Nimag, the official Dutch TVR-importer/dealer (http://www.tvr.nl/nimag?nav=uanpuxCsHcPvCfTDAR)
